At Coastal Clothing, we want you to love your coastal-inspired wardrobe as much as we do. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re happy to offer returns or exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns for most items in new, unworn condition with original tags attached. Please note:

  • All swimwear must be returned with the hygienic liner intact
  • Final sale items (marked as such) cannot be returned or exchanged
  • Personalized items are non-returnable

Important: Due to hygiene reasons, reversible swimwear from our Swim collection can only be returned if the hygienic liner is undisturbed and original packaging is intact.

How to Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps for a smooth returns process:

  1. Initiate your return: Email us at [email protected] with your order number and the items you wish to return/exchange
  2. Wait for approval: We’ll respond within 24-48 hours with return instructions
  3. Package your items: Include the original packing slip and securely package your return
  4. Ship your return: Send your package to our Seattle facility (address below) using a trackable shipping method

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable (except for defective/damaged items)

Exchanges

Prefer a different size or color from our coastal collections? We offer exchanges for most items:

  1. Follow the same return process above
  2. Clearly indicate the item(s) you’d like as an exchange
  3. We’ll ship your new item once we receive your return

For fastest service, we recommend placing a new order for the desired item and returning the original purchase separately.

For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Swimwear with removed hygienic liners
  • Worn or washed items
  • Items marked as “Final Sale”
